Here's a nice registered 4d postal stationery envelope from Johannesburg.
There are two Johannesburg CDS.

The rate is  completed by a a 2d slate gray and lilac 1930 pictorial redrawn (Afrikaans SG 48).
Registration was noted by a large boxed R JOHANNESBURG handstamp with a script serial number.

There is an oval registered receiving mark from Farnham dated 16 December.
Farnham is in Surrey about 65 km southwest of London .
