This is a nice advertising cover sent from Havana to Saint
Louis.
The sender, Pedro Gonzalez, was a manufacturer of shoes.
"AMADEO" appears to have been his brand name.
The machine cancel bilingual slogan is
COMPRE ZUCAR
CUBANO
Buy CUBAN SUGAR
The stamps are the perf 10 1930 rotary press 1¢ blue
green
and 2¢ bright rose definitives (Scott 308 and 309).
