Sudan to England

This postcard (probably a picture on the back) is datelined 'Railway Hotel. Port Sudan.'
Port Sudan (now Bur Sudan) is on the west coast of the Red Sea at about 19°37' North.

There is one Traveling Post Office CDS from the KHARTOUM to PORT SUDAN TPO No. 2.*

The postcard was franked with a 10m. carmine and black 1922 camel (SG 35).

The sender routed the card 'Via Egypt.'

The addressee was at Worcester College in Westcliff on Sea.
Westcliffe-on-Sea is on the north side of the Thames Estuary about 30 miles east of London.

The sender makes comments about the difficulty of diving.
