This commercial cover was mailed during the
British Administration of Palestine after World War I.
The stamps on the reverse were first issued by the
Egyptian Expeditionary Force (E.E.F.) and subsequently overprinted.
The overprint has one line in Arabic, one line in English and one line
in Hebrew.
The stamps are the 1 milliemes dark brown, the 2 milliemes blue green,
and the 1 piaster bright blue (Scott 37, 38, 42).
The cover received a single ring CDS in Haifa.
(Note the spelling difference between the printed return address -
Caifa
- and the CDS.)
There are two Cairo receiving marks of January 11 on the reverse.
